Aviary Brazil
Delicate yet generous in scale, the pavilion shelters a pair of endangered macaws in a space that feels both safe and sacred. Its circular form speaks to the continuity of life — a small structure carrying a powerful message of hope.

Pavilion for an Endangered Species
The goal of the project on the Brazilian island was to support the effort to save an endangered species. The aviary was created for the last pair of endangered macaws. The generous size and delicate structure provided such a safe space that the pair actually grew into a family with many offspring. The pavilion became a symbol of hope for the future.

Dignity
The island’s owner wished to create a dignified environment for a bird species that was nearly driven to extinction by human greed. The circular form of the aviary serves not only as a shelter, but also as a symbol — evoking the cycle of life and the possibility of renewal.
